About Me
Hi! My name is Mrs. Sims, and I can’t wait to meet you when you come to be in my room this year! I know this is going to be a great year since you and your friends were chosen to be in my class. Teaching kindergarten children is my most favorite things to do! That’s why I have been teaching kindergarten at Stonewall Jackson for the past 18 years.
I was born in Lebanon, KY where I lived all my life until I moved to Bristol, VA 20 years ago. I am married and have six children and 11 grandchildren. I have no pets, but I do “baby-sit” my daughter’s dog , Sebastian, for her sometimes. I love to work outdoors in my flowers and do yard work during the summer. I also love reading and singing in the choir. My most favorite times are the times spent visiting and vacationing at the beach with my children and grandchildren.
